There are no shortage of family activities in Northern Ireland, and, we all know that when it comes to animals, children and adults all have a brilliant time. The Ark Farm in Newtownards gives tourists and people living here an all year round attraction which specialises in having animals which are no longer seen in fields around the countryside.
Set in 40 acres of beautiful countryside this is a perfect location for a family day out with a variety of large and small animals to see. The open farm is home to over 200 animals including alpacas and ponies. Families can enjoy pony rides, playing in the expansive outdoor play area and walking on the woodland adventure trail which has picnic tables along the route.
