There’s a fond place in our hearts for sailing and the extent of our hospitality has been placed on the global stage with events such as the Clipper Round The World Yacht Race. Here in Bangor, Co Down, right at the entrance to Belfast Lough, Ballyholme Yacht Club sets the scene as a perfect location to learn to sail and enjoy seeing our beautiful coastline while having a lot of fun.
Ballyholme Yacht Club hosts regular Sunday races for dinghies as well as Tuesday evening racing during the summer scene. The club hosts many sailing events of great acclaim from the World Police and Fire Games , the Fireball Northerns, RS Sprint Series, F18 Catamaran World Championships and much more.
